Meal Planning Monday #7


I am determined to shake things up a bit this week with our meals and include some variety - I just hope they will be eaten!! I have noticed since taking part in this weekly link up, that we eat a lot of similar meals week in and week out, so I think I need to add some different meals for the boys sake if no one else's. So here goes nothing!!


Monday
Burton will be at Ladybirds for lunch


Lunch
Jacket Potato (OH & I )
Mini Tuna Fishcakes (J)


Dinner
Homemade Pizza 


Tuesday


Lunch
Homemade Turkey Meatballs & Pasta (the boys)
Pesto Pasta (OH & I )


Dinner

Thai Turkey Cakes (minus the coriander!) 
served with stir fry noodles & peppers and a sweet chilli sauce



Wednesday


Lunch
leave open as will be at Granma's


Dinner
Leftover Thai Turkey Cakes, sweet chill sauce & salad


Thursday


Lunch
Cauliflower Cheese, Smiley Faces, Ham & Peas (B & J)


Dinner
Cauliflower Cheese, Peas & Homemade Chips 
Ham, Egg & Homemade Chips  (OH!)


Friday


Lunch
Cheese Omelette & Pasta Shapes (B & J )
Cheese Omelette & Baked Beans (OH & I )


Dinner

Cauliflower cheese & Bacon Loaded Potato Skins with salad

Saturday


Lunch
Fish Finger Wraps & Savoury Rice with sweetcorn & peas (all)


Dinner
tbc - maybe I can persuade OH to treat us to a take away!


Sunday


Lunch
Slow Cooker Roast Beef with Mash and veg (all)


Dinner
Snacky nibbles

  2. ooo the thai turkey cakes sound gooood! I'm the same and my menu is quite repetitive. Tried a few new bits last week and intend to do the same next week... wasn't organised this week though oops.

  4. I hope they taste nice! I cannot stand coriander so will leave that out but I love sweet chilli sauce so fingers crossed! If they are a success I will blog the recipe x

  5. I have never tried them but they had them at Ladybirds last week and apparently an ate them! So thought I would try them at home. I love fish finger sandwiches so these should be ok with ketchup of course!., x

  6. Ooooo yes. You can't have fish fingers without ketchup. I only started eating fish fingers last year! I must try these wraps, with lettuce too. Mmmmmm x

  10. You've given me noodle inspiration for Z. He loves them but I'm.always stuck about what to put in with it. My fave has to be the roast beef dinner with mash (and gravy?)

  16. the boys tend to have their main meal at lunchtime and just have snacky tea which i don't bother mentioning on here. sometimes they will have theirs in the evening if we were out all day x
